As part of the Philippine Travel Mart 2025, the Department of Tourism (DOT) MIMAROPA hosted a Business-to-Business (B2B) session titled “MIMAROPA’s New Horizon: Forging the Future of Regional Travel” on September 6, 2025, at The Heritage Hotel, Manila.
The event gathered tourism officers and industry stakeholders from across the region, providing a dynamic platform to present their emerging and established tourism products.
Representing Occidental Mindoro, Ms. Lucille Bico of the Provincial Tourism Office showcased the province’s well-loved destinations, diverse attractions, and adventure-filled activities that await travelers. Her presentation emphasized Occidental Mindoro’s unique blend of culture, nature, and community-based tourism experiences.
The session also featured one-on-one business matching with travel and tour operators, fostering collaboration and opening doors for stronger partnerships. Occidental Mindoro was further represented by MPDR Travel and Tour, a DOT-accredited travel agency based in the province, which engaged with operators and expanded potential networks.
Initiatives like this play a vital role in connecting local destinations with industry players, enhancing market visibility, and positioning Occidental Mindoro as a rising tourism hub in MIMAROPA.
With its stunning coastlines, rich marine biodiversity, cultural heritage, and agri-tourism potential, Occidental Mindoro continues to capture the interest of travelers and partners in the tourism industry. The B2B session reaffirmed the province’s commitment to expanding tourism opportunities and forging long-term partnerships for a more productive future.
Way to go, OksiMin!
