Occidental Mindoro Shines at the 32nd PTAA Travel and Tour Expo 2025

Occidental Mindoro marked another milestone in its tourism promotion by successfully participating in the 32nd PTAA Travel and Tour Expo 2025, held from February 7-9, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, MOA Complex, Pasay City.

This year, aside from showcasing our tourism destinations, we proudly highlighted the local products from various municipalities across the province. A key feature of our display was the Mangyan handicrafts, including “Habol” (handwoven fabrics), beaded accessories, and “Nito” handicrafts, which reflect the rich cultural heritage of our indigenous communities.

Thanks to the Department of Tourism – MIMAROPA, we were provided with a dedicated space to install our own custom-designed booth, allowing us to creatively showcase Occidental Mindoro’s vibrant culture. This opportunity enabled us to design an immersive display that truly represented the province’s unique offerings.

The expo brought together DOT regional offices, local and international travel and tour agencies, and global tourism stakeholders, all aiming to boost international travel. With a variety of exclusive travel promotions available, the three-day event attracted a significant number of visitors, further enhancing opportunities for tourism growth.

Our participation in this prestigious event reinforces Occidental Mindoro’s commitment to promoting sustainable tourism and supporting local communities, ensuring that more travelers discover the beauty and cultural richness of our province.
