The Philippine Travel Agencies Association, with its goal to promote a better and stronger future of travel, conducted its 30^th edition of the TravelTour Expo in SMX Convention Center, Pasay City last February 3-5, 2023.  It was participated by PTAA members and the DOT-MIMAROPA also joined the said event along with DOT regional offices.

            The PGO Tourism Division through the invitation of the DOT-MIMAROPA has attended the expo along with the representatives from Sablayan Tourism Office and local Travel and Tour Agencies. It was a great opportunity for benchmarking and keeping up with trends in the travel and tour industry since well-known international and local travel agencies and tour operators were present. The three-day expo was a success and our main attraction, Apo Reef Natural Park has been inquired about several times confirming its popularity among dive enthusiasts. Some Travel Agencies have also shown their interest in traveling to our province to connect with our local tour operators and sell the tour packages available. It was indeed a platform for connecting potential partners in the promotion of our province as a tourist destination.

The PGO Tourism Division is committed to participating in this kind of event to further promote our tourism industry, expand the reach of our promotions, and connect with more potential visitors.
